Yea, that's right - I've experimented with this on a single sweeping curve - if you want to see for yourself the difference, enter the curve straight atop the bike, and notice how much it is leaned in the curve - then, midway through the curve, edge your upper body off the inside of the bike, and you'll see you have to tilt the bike itself more upright cause you'll be diving toward the inside of the curve..
